BDO Simpson Xavier

BDO Simpson Xavier is Ireland's leading firm of business and financial advisers to entrepreneurial owner managed businesses. Over the past 20 years we have been the fastest growing professional practice in Ireland.

At BDO Simpson Xavier we take an active interest in our clients' businesses and act as true business advisers, not just accountants or tax specialists. As a successful entrepreneurial business ourselves we understand the unique challenges and opportunities that growth presents.

BDO Simpson Xavier is the only multi-disciplined, "relationship based" accountancy firm focusing on entrepreneurial and growing businesses. We have the range of services provided by the "Big 4" coupled with the close client relationship you would expect from a smaller firm. This is made possible by our professional staff to partner ratio, which is the lowest of any of our competitors. Currently BDO Simpson Xavier employs over 500 staff with offices in Dublin, Limerick, Belfast and Galway

In 1984 Brian McGann (now managing partner of BDO Simpson Xavier Limerick) qualified as a chartered accountant and set up as a sole practitioner on O’Connell Street in Limerick. By 1990 the practice employed 17 people and during the first six years built up a strong reputation in insolvency, corporate restructuring and financial strategy. In 1990 Brian decided to merge his practice with BDO Simpson Xavier.

Currently over 80 staff are employed in the Limerick office across a range of business disciplines which include Corporate Finance, General Practice, Taxation, Recruitment, Financial Services, Consultancy and Marketing.
