Maurice Carr - Senior Management
Maurice Carr is the National Recruitment Partner within BDO Simpson Xavier. His areas of expertise include sourcing staff for Senior Management and Financial Roles across a broad range of sectors from Construction, Manufacturing, Sports and Leisure, Hi-Tech and Services. Maurice works with high profile companies such as McInerney plc, Munster Rugby, Bord na gCon, Sisk and GE Capital Aviation Services. He also provides training and advice to senior executives aimed at optimising their skills and success rates in recruitment and retention of key staff.
Originally from Newcastle West, Co Limerick he is a graduate of UCC and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before moving into the Recruitment and People Management sector in 1990. Married with six children Maurice enjoys running, cycling, and attending Munster Rugby games during his spare time.

Diarmuid Scully - Executive Researcher
Diarmuid joined BDO in 2007 as a Research Consultant. He has extensive experience in the IT sector, banking, aviation and public service. Diarmuid’s role is to identify potential candidates for senior executive positions through a combination of web based research, database mining, source referrals and prospecting. Diarmuid is a graduate of the University of Limerick and a member of the Marketing Institute.
A native of Limerick, Diarmuid is married with two young sons. He is a former Mayor of Limerick and had the honour of welcoming home the Heineken Cup winning Munster Rugby team in 2006, something he hopes future Mayors of Limerick will also have the pleasure of doing

Rachael O’Rourke - Commercial Recruitment Specialist
Rachael joined BDO Recruitment after gaining over ten years experience in Commercial, HR and administration roles throughout the Mid West. Since joining BDO Recruitment, Rachael has successfully placed candidates in a wide variety of commercial roles that include Senior PA’s, Customer Service, Sales and HR positions. Rachel has provided recruitment solutions for companies such as BS&B Systems, McHales Plant Hire and Avocent.

Joe Delaney – Manager Accounting and Finance
Before joining BDO Recruitment, Joe worked in recruitment in the USA. Based in both Limerick and Dublin offices, Joe works on appointing mid to senior financial roles across a broad range of sectors. The mix of clients incorporates owner managed businesses and multinationals with recognised names in the indigenous sector as Irish Commercial Sales in Naas, Flair International in Cavan, Gleneagle Woodcrafts in Meath and Skylift in Limerick. The multinational clients include mid and senior appointments at GECAS, Dell, Boston Scientific and Transitions Optical in Galway.
From Limerick, Joe is a recent Master’s graduate in Marketing from the University of Glamorgan. Joe is fully occupied by two young daughters and in his spare time, enjoys rugby, soccer and GAA as a player and spectator.

Louise Ryan - Consultant
Prior to joining BDO Recruitment, Louise worked in property sales in the Limerick and Clare areas. Louise specialises in accounting and finance roles for both multinationals and small businesses throughout Ireland but particularly in the Mid West area. She specialises in filling roles across all levels from accounts assistants to Financial Controllers.
Originally from Doon in Co. Limerick, Louise graduated from H.S.I with a BBS(Hons) in Business and Marketing. Louise has a general interest in sport but particularly in Surfing and enjoys attending various sporting and music events.
